What exactly were your fore fathers when thet hit American shores? Immigrants. Why is it all of a sudden America can longer be a dream for people to strive towards? I agree it must be done through the front door and not the back but, let us be fair and look at our own histories. On a different note, They are all politicians and anyone who thinks not is fooling themselves. I will say this I have spent many hours studying these candidates and for all that I've learned I voted in my primary for Senator Obama. And I am as blue collar as it gets. The others are ,well, my mother always told me if I couldn't say something nice not to say anything at all so I'll abstain from making degrading comments in regards to the other candidates. I will say this a whole lot of the people on here sound an awful lot like elitists to me, know what they say? People who live in glass houses.....

When we use the term "immigrants" it's used incorrectly as we try to be politically correct. Most of us are upset by the illegal aliens sneaking across the border or other foreigners being here without legal status. Most politicians court certain blocks of voters and so do not take a position which would be good for the nation. There are all that way. The American dream is being destroyed by our lack of an immigration policy and a lack of control of our borders.

You call a lot of us elitists here, what happened to your mother's advise? Did she want you to speak no ill will toward politicians?

bama- you are reasoning with the unreasonable. Nothing they say makes sense, their real reason for not voting for Obama is very simple but you couldn't get a bunch of cowards to say I am racist. They would like to think they are god fearing good Christians. They are full of hate and if there is a judgment day, they will have to answer to a higher authority.

So let me understand this, if I don't vote for Obama I'm a racist? How narrow mined and misguided. Need I point out it sounds like you are the racist but I don't know you.

You know darn well that's not what I am saying...don't try to put words in my mouth tbkennedy53. If this is what you gathered from what I am saying then you need to take a closer look. Your reverse psychology is so seventh gradeish. And yes, you are raciest if you are among that bunch of cowards of which i speak.

I am certainly not and where is your basis for your statement?

Open your eyes tbkennedy53 it doesn't take to genius to know that if some one is spitting all of the usual racial stereotypes that they are racist! Or do you think they are doing so because they are loving of the black person they are berating? Look, we are not the idiots that you think. The operative words being ( you think...the editorial you that is) they/you are not talking over our heads, we are actually ignoring your ignorance when you think we don't understand your double speak. The only one that doesn't understand is those very ones assuming they are over our heads.

So true. I wonder how much those that call people that do not support Obama "racist" would support Alan Keyes

(or Michael Steele http://www.msa.md.gov/msa/mdmanual/08conoff/htm...

or Clarence Thomas
