I took a shot of double espresso before watching McCain speak and it still didn't work. zzzzzzzz.
he looked like a little cartoon character up there. coat a bit too big, overly earnest with his script reading, trying to sound convincing, trying to play to the center.
total snooze. totally uninspired.
he can say whatever he wants but we all know he has to answer to the lobbyists first since that's who makes up a large portion of his senior staff.
he'll listen to anyone with a good idea? riiiiiight. we all know that's language desinged to distance himself from bush. nothing more.
the only way McCain will listen to someone is if they're from some big lobbying firm.
What was the point of watching him if you've already written him off as a fake?
I mean why does everything he says that might be a good thing have to be nothing but lies? But you know if Obama said he would listen to anyone with a good idea, he'd be hailed as the best thing since sliced bread.
When you have a person who flips and flops as much as this person has, I wouldn't care if they where running to be a city counselor, they should not be electable, period!
Yea, kinda like Obama . . . He didn't say it before he did say it before he didn't hear it then he did hear it then he owned him before he disowned him. Ha ha ha ha!
I used to like McCain. thought he was more of a center-right type of guy. but the more I find out about him, the more of a liar and flip flopper he becomes, and in areas, like campaign finance, where he has tried to fashion himself as a champion of the people. then we find out that a large protion of his senior staff is in fact lobbyists, which completley undercuts his own outward values.
so, really disappointing.
and yesterday was just a coma-inducing sales pitch for the center. nothing more.
