And I congratulate anyone who is able to kick the habit. But I do take offense when one person (Bush)has an addition and tries to clean themselves up and live right then that is brought up and rubbed in their face. When someone else (OBAMA)has had an addition and is congratulated for it. Wake up and smell those cow patties Bush ain't running for President . And once an addict always a addict just maybe not a user. There is always a time, a instant that one might fall. We are all only human. And I am speaking for you too. How can you trust a man that lies repeatedly changes his path and still make you believe it? Maybe those recreational drugs are still in your system.
disagree, I know some people that were cocaine addicts they have told me that after nearly thirty years they still feel the pull of that drug. They consider themselves addicts just like a alcoholic is always and alcoholic. And there is one black tar something that I have been told use it once and your addicted.
That is anecdotal evidence. There is no substance that I know of that is instantly addictive. Even nicotine.
Now, that's just not true. Just because a person used drugs doesn't mean that they are an addict. Senator Obama is congratulated for being HONEST about his drug use.
Ranch, are you suggesting the nation should start hating Obama based on your observation? Wow, that's heavy. Based on that "How can you trust . . ." statement, we have had 7 years of Bush and 17 of the rubber stamp Con Congress to practice. Those fellows are still going to jail or getting immunity. Ranch, no, I am not trying to put words in your mouth . . . that's a Con thing. I rather challenge your words, and express ideas that you can equally challenge. If you mis-state something, we get another chance. But you don't get a free ride saying stuff that do have meaning and not get called up on it. If you aren't trying to persuade the propeller audience to dislike, not trust, go against or hate Obama, then what are you doing? If you throw an issue out there, we will jump on that too.
