He was talking about 1938! Obama's camp keeps insisting that there is no parallel between then and now. If that is so, how could Bush be talking about Obama?
So, which is it? No comparison, or Obama's taking diplomacy lessons from Neville Chamberlain?
Oh, and by the way, sitting Presidents OFTEN have taken pot shots at the opposition; FORMER Presidents, however, until Carter came along, acted as elder statesmen-- either supporting current policy or keeping their mouths shut. Carter is the first former President in the history of the country to not only denigrate the current President and his policies, but actively work to undermine them.
