No, that was a grass roots effort by their original fan base, that was met by a backlash from the more liberal Hollywood constituency, which resulted in sold out concerts, and a whole bunch of grammy awards.
Yep, they've totally disappeared off the scene -- impoverished and languishing unindicted in Guantanamo--
oh wait! No, there still selling lots of CD's and concert tickets.
I wish I could get shut down like they did...
