I think your link is messed up. And you and I both know the missive from the Huffington. There were to be 200 of us liberals that were supposed to watch that video 10,000 times. Thank goodness I drew a long straw.

"I think your link is messed up"

You're right - old hyperbola is behind the curve on how to post articles links.

Bwahahahahahaha!!!!

Sen McCain has a great sense of humor. I loved it.

He's got the best sense of humor of any politician I've yet seen. I remember really enjoying his appearances on the Daily Show.

That really cracked me up, thanks Alpha!

Maybe John should have tried for an entertainment career instead of politics. lol

It was refreshing to see McCain take a few moments and laugh at the race. It shows he has confidence, and he doesn't think every media moment is a "do or die" situation. Very entertaining...

AG - Extremely funny, but I have a little question....

Was he suffering from one hellova tooth ache, or does he have some medical problem with the (as you look at the clip) right side of his jaw ?

According to his website the scars are from vietnam and some from skin cancers.

House - I wasn't querying the scars (I'm well aware of the sh*t he went through) just the swelling on the side of his face.

If that's from skin cancer, I'd have some serious misgivings as to voting for him (were I a US citizen)......

From looking at his 'face forward' profile it looks like his jaw may of been broken at one time and not set right.

However he definitely has some scaring from torture and topical 'skin cancer' removal.

The skin cancer issue is troubling. But if he keeps up with scheduled check ups there is a slim chance that the cancer would metastasize before being caught in time.

The Hillary-Obama SNL favoritism skit was funnier, however this was not bad.

'SNL' ratings spike with McCain appearance

Was it Sen. John McCain's jokes about his age? Or was it Steve Carell, the guest host of "Saturday Night Live"?

For whatever reason, the comedy show drew one of its highest ratings of the season on Saturday, and the highest rating of a season finale in three years, NBC said.

Are you trying to insinuate there is some sort of McCain mania going on here? Hardly, most of the true conservatives I know can't stand him. They will only vote for him in the belief they are voting for the lesser of two evils.

And although he is good in these candid situations does that have a single thing to do with being President?

Clearly a McCain term would be a modified extension of the Bush years. He may have once had some different ideas but now he is little more than a Bush clone. Cut taxes, wage war! More of the same simplistic nonsense. The neoconservative idealogists will of course be his advisors. Exactly what America does not need in this day and age.

And what exactly is Cheney going to do? There is no post like "Master of the World" available in the Cabinet. That's a lot of power they will be asking him to cede. What's a megalomaniac to do?

lol, WHAT??? Boy, gimme some of what you're smoking. How did you get ALL OF THAT out of that little quote I posted? lol, talk about reading too much into something. I just saw that and thought it was an interesting little side note to my story, that's all.

Anyway, no matter how much you might try to proclaim it, McCain is not Bush nor is he a Bush clone. That is a myth the libs are desperately trying to perpetuate. I already know that is an Obama strategy. In fact, here's a little something for you to read:

The first two paragraphs were a reply to your comment.

The rest was simply commentary. And it addresses the exact issue raised by the article you linked. To even consider the election of another Republican is insane in my view. You guys have had eight years and have steered us headfirst toward disaster. How could a Democrat do a worse job? Is it even possible?

Of course there will be the usual scare tactics;

"All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger." -Hermann Goering.

Sound crazy? I guarantee you that they will suggest that to elect Obama would be to expose America to attack. That's what Bush's aside to the Knessat was all about. That's what your party will essentially be selling this fall. Goerring wasn't stupid (just nuts!)and whoever (Rove? Cheney?)first decided to use this strategy knew it would work. Fear has always been the most powerful motivator.

""Now herrrrrrre's Johnnnnnny!""

Says the crazed psycho in the doorway of the obviously haunted mansion. Well at least he has some EXPERIENCE dealing with large haunted buildings eh? Going in that there Lincoln bedroom requires experience heheh.

Two minutes Edit: I forgot that the psycho is holding an axe!
