You said it. She explained what she was trying to say.
I will say the nightly news mentioned it and played her explaining what she was trying to say and then they moved on and didn't make a big deal out of it. I was surprised.
Grow up people! Like Obama hasn't tasted his shoe more than once.

I'm sorry, but this was NOT taken out of context and YES this was a bad comparison. But Hillary ISN'T being held to a higher standard then anyone else.
Frankly, this statement was vastly more inappropriate then the Senator Obama "bitter" comment or Michelle Obama "proud" and she ABSOLUTELY should be called on it.

It was a pretty bad gaffe. I don't think it was a threat of any kind but a poor observation. It's about the only way she can win the nomination at this point. She should just run out the primaries quietly and then step aside gracefully.

There is no single word, sentence, or paragraph that captures the meaning of Candidate Clinton's repeated assination comments but Oberman's dissertation comes very close.
