Choosing their running mate is the first big decision the Presidential candidate has to make. They can listen to their spouse, their friends, and party leaders, but the final decision is theirs. Sen McCain might pick a more conservative, younger V P, and Sen Obama might pick an older more experienced V P. Neither should pick Hillary Clinton.
