"The allegations by this former top White House aide â;; that Rove and Libby deliberately coordinated their stories in order to obstruct justice in the Plame case, that the President deliberately disregarded contradictory evidence related to Iraq, should outrage every American and Congress must respond by initiating immediate aggressive oversight starting with an appearance by McClellan before the House Judiciary Committee. Any continued obstruction by this Administration to prevent White House officials from appearing before Congress cannot be tolerated by this Congress in the face of these shocking revelations."

McClellan chastised tell-all tomes in 2004
McClellan says he still admires Bush, but thinks that his advisers served him very poorly, especially in the war. That will certainly gain a lot of attention, but it also calls into question why McClellan stuck around for three years of dealing "propaganda"
Funny how in 2004 McClellan had this to say
Richard Clarke, "Against All Enemies: Inside America's War on Terror," on March 22, 2004:
McCLELLAN: Well, why, all of a sudden, if he had all these grave concerns, did he not raise these sooner? This is one-and-a-half years after he left the administration. And now, all of a sudden, he's raising these grave concerns that he claims he had. And I think you have to look at some of the facts. One, he is bringing this up in the heat of a presidential campaign. He has written a book and he certainly wants to go out there and promote that book. …

Rove gives an effective rebuttal to McClellan's allegation that he and Scooter Libby held "secret" meetings about the Plame affair, noting that he met regularly with Libby, and that they had both been advised not to talk about the issue:
Take a listen at the end to hear the comparison Rove makes, which won't make our friends on the port side of the blogosphere very happy.
Ari Flescher is on Fox News right now saying Scott told him last night the editor "tweaked" this books before it went to press.
Scott is in full make lots of money and CYA mode at the same time mode.

Rethinking the Iraq critics.

Today we're only beginning to learn about what went on behind the scenes in regard to Iraq.......One such narrative is, "Bush lied; people died." The claim is that "neocons," including Feith, politicized intelligence to show that Saddam Hussein's regime had we
