My bleary eyes this morning conflated the data [and just mis-spelled that as dater] and from the way the post appeared deduced that he had got a JOB as a MUCKRAKER.
Pig-farm, perhaps??
But no such perfect typecasting.
He's bringing his "clout" with him to the civil arena; should be worth a few laughs down the road.
I should imagine he'll need to watch out for banana skins in the hallway set by some inventive paparazzo.
"Thanks for dropping in" headline..
[Pls send the check for the idea to the gamabank for ageing situationists.]

Good for Gonzo. WHat's the going rate for influence peddling, nowadays? Pretty steep, I'd bet.
After he made such an idiot of himself in his Congressional testimony, nobody in their right mind would hire him for this intellectual prowess.
Gonzo testifies "I know nothing improper happened in the firings.", followed by, "I don't recall what happened." In simple words, I have no idea what I did, but I know it was the right thing to do.

Scott Fitzgerald famously said that there are no second acts in American life--but of course in our modern media-ocracy the number of acts one can launch are infinite.
Still, in Mr. G.'s case, I'd call this a 1 3/16ths act....

Can someone please explain to me when these jerks will ever get thrown in jail, when they resign amid scandal? Is there forever going to be some kind of place where they are thrown in with their polar political opposite for a minimum 5-year term, with no medial to watch or hear or read. Now that would make a great reality tv show.

That was a lie when he said those 8 lawyers were "released for cause"! I'm surprised Dumya didn't hire him through some government contract afterward, like "God Job" Brownie! Scooter rehired/pardonned immediately too! Condi ignores a brief titled, OBL Determined to Attack Inside the USA, and got promoted to Sec of State! What a pack of unscruppled cronies!

. . . Special masters are hired in patent cases to help district judges with complex issues. In this case, Phillips was hired to handle settlement talks between DataTreasury Corp. and the banks.
And what in Gonzo's previous jobs would lead a judge to think he has a grasp of complex issues? lol.
