What I don't understand is. How can they say Abramoff had no pull if he didn't contact the president and his staff?
That seems to be saying that he had contact but didn't have any pull. Which would a lie out of the two meetings Bush would like all to believe.
The lies never end with this group. I'm beginning to doubt that he ever really won the presidency. LOL
Just impeach him and then arrest him and try him for treason. Hang the SOB if he is guilty.

"Mr. Bonilla requested and was provided with two tickets to sit in the Abramoff suite for the November 20, 2001, Washington Wizards game."
SCANDALOUS!!!! Tickets to a Washington Wizards game!!! Ohhh My!!!
Obama has accepted funding from Abramoff's former firm ...
http://www.newsday.com/news/politics/ny-usobam1...
"Barack Obama quietly slipped into the Miami headquarters of a major law firm scarred by the scandals of Jack Abramoff, its once-powerful Washington lobbyist who now sits in jail.
"Obama spent the next three hours schmoozing, speaking in a video conference to branch offices and raising money at Greenberg Traurig, a billion-dollar firm with one of the biggest lobby shops here.
"Obama has now raised about $125,000 from Greenberg Traurig employees - nearly half of it at the time of the event - more than from any of the other top law and lobby firms."

...still too many Senatorial Repugs that still back Dumya's vetos, would also block his impeachment conviction! Stem cell research not opened up, soldiers tortured by Sadam can't sue Iraq and 10 million poor kids not funded minimal healthcare coverage, are just a few of the vetos backed by these obstructionist Repugs! The Repugs must have convinced Pelosi of this before she ever won Speaker of the House!

Abramoff met Bush at least 6 times, House panel confirms
Convicted superlobbyist Jack Abramoff had his photo taken with the president on six occasions, the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform said Monday, though it said it could not determine if Abramoff had lobbied the president personally on any issue. Still, the committee said its probe made it clear White House consulted with Abramoff.

"Convicted superlobbyist Jack Abramoff had his photo taken with the president on six occasions..."
Ohhh MY!! First it was tix to a Wizards game ... Now PICTURES for Abramoff's ego wall. Ohhh damn them all!
News Flash: ANYONE can get their picture taken with a president by attending a fundraising luncheon and making a donation to have a picture taken. People do it all the time, and you'd have to be stupid to think it amounts to political influence.
Now, that property and funds Obama got from Rezko and the $125,000 he raised from Abramoff's firm, THAT deserves investigation.

It's too late. The only reason that this info is being released now is because they know it's too late. Hopefully, we can get back the White House and 60% in the Senate and then maybe finally these criminals will be brought to justice. It won't happen while they are still in office.

And people are seriously considering voting for John McSame. A man who was at the pinnacle of the Keating 5 scandal. A man who has Phil Graham as his chief economic adviser. That's the same Phil Graham who, as a senator, sponsored legislation deregulating the financial industry and leading to the mortgage meltdown. The same Phil Graham who lobbied for and still is a Vice Chairman for Banking Giant, UBS; a financial institution with dealings so murky the firm has advised its senior officers not to travel to the US lest they be arrested!

Abramoff and the Israeli Connection
Washington sleazebag funneled money to Israel's "settler" movement
... According to a report by Michael Isikoff in Newsweek, Abramoff was soliciting funds on behalf of a shady organization known as the Capital Athletic Foundation (CAF), which was supposed to be funding sports programs and imparting "leadership skills" to inner-city youth. Instead, CAF funneled millions scarfed up from Indian tribes not only into Abramoff's own pockets and the pockets of his cronies, but also to ultra-right-wing Israeli "settlers." Isikoff reports:
