The defense insisted Chessani promptly reported the events to his superiors and that nobody in the chain of command believed there was any wrongdoing on the part of the Marines."

When I saw him say these things about men willing to fight, and die to protect all of us, even little cockroaches like Murtha. Maybe once he was a hero. Now he is just a dispicable piece of human feces. I hope they sue together, and he goes bankrupt.

I like that! I hope they crucify that lousy fat arse traitor sob! That worthless piece of crap Murtha certainly needs it. The last time I was this happy was when the family of that fallen soldier had successfully sued those iceholes who were protesting the funeral. Stick it to Murtha and make it hurt!

The only reasons those murderers got off was because material witnesses didn't want to travel here because they feared for their safety. I hope what they did haunts the hell out of them for the rest of their lives.

Sorry but the chief witness was a Marine who had been give immunity. He lied his a&& off failed the polygraph. ALL accused PASSED polygraph
Sgt Sanick Dela Cruz lied to NCIS agents, then, when he failed a polygraph lied about his first lie, oddly enough he's in good standing with IVAW and Jason Washburn.

My biggest concern here is that any sitting political official would demean our soliders under fire in a public way. Murtha started commenting long before the investigation was complete, as possibly even before it started. This is a failure of leadership in a national figure, during a time of conflict.
I don't think Murtha will ever see a court case out of this, though I think I would delight in it. At a minimum, it could be an object lesson for the others.

It's shameful the way these Marines were treated and condemned by the press and the likes of Murtha. You can bet many of the lefty's here on Propeller used the false accusations to justify their hatred of the U.S. and its military.
Especially shameful is Murtha was a Marine. Apparently, "semper fi" was a meaningless to him.

You both know the media likes to do this. And politicians are no different. Murtha was told the story and since he needed a smear... well you know how it goes, he ran with it. He got one side of the story and thought he knew the correct answer to the questions.
Just like the lacross players. Guilty before the facts are presented. Hmmmmmm, seriously would they do this??? as I roll my eyes.
