Until 2000, it hadn't happened in more than 100 years, but plugged-in observers from both parties see a distinct possibility of Barack Obama winning the popular vote but losing the Electoral College - and with it the presidency - to John McCain.

    no way, mccain cannot win the election again. Everyone is aware that it would be another 4 years of BUSH- has Bush benefited anyone? any class? any race? any gender? NO

        It's easy to see this. Obama wins 2 to 1 in NY, CA, and IL and loses closely in MI and/or PA and NJ and/or NH.
