As the article points out, he is basically out of options. And by the way, why would Iran want to do anything that might make him look good?
You see, when you go around pointing fingers at other countries calling them "evil" sometimes that dog comes back around to bite you on the ass!

Yeah, that Iran is a bastion of civility with the nut job running it constantly threatening to wipe Israel off the map and on occasion making similar threats to the U.S. and Britain.
There is ample evidence Iran has participated in funding, arming and providing refuge for Iraq insurgents.

I guess that's what some kooks would have you believe.
Apparently, that in all truth wasn't the case, and the MIStranslation has been the basis for a lot of animosity and hate-stirring by Israel, who OWES Iran quite a bit of money.

The architecture of the deterrent was designed to give time for the oil deals to be signed. Its ALL about the oil and always has been. Bush knows firsthand how easy it is to dupe his constituents. All he has to do is say "taxes" or "socialism" and they will do what ever he wants. The price of oil has risen to mitigate the risk of supply disruption and to help pay the price (still unknown) for the contracts. Bush/Cheney and now McCain don't seem to mind that we've spent a trillion doillars (my new word for the dollar) and made all of his friends fabulously rich. So... the question is now. How in the hell are we going to pay back the trillion doillars without raising taxes? My guess is that Obama will win although it will be close. He will have to raise taxes giving the Republicans perfect fuel to start their war all over. So all of you minions go fill up your hummers and SUVs.

Obama stated clearly that he is willing to do whatever necessary to defend Israel....
I don't understand all the animosity from the libs here towards Israel. We defend them because they're our ally. They're our strongest ally in the middle east, an area of the world where we have a lot of stock at the moment. So I don't see a problem with trying to keep them as a strong and important ally.
