Bill Bennett is a Conservative, to be sure. He is also a Washington insider, if there ever was one. But he is also an extremely gifted policymaker, and his thoughts on a candidate's veracity are informed and unemotional.

Mr. Bennett is also a great radio host. I quite enjoy listening to Morning in America on my way to work. I have yet to actually see him bring emotions or personal feelings into things.

Hey hey hey, whoa whoa whoa now.
I thought this was Libscape. You remember, Nutscape that employed only liberal scouts out to propagate the ways of the liberal media.
What with all the blanket posting & mass frothing of the Obama smears, this is starting to look like NeoConscape.
Ahh, well. Another ridiculous fallacy debunked!

This man was a Drug Czar. That does not qualify him for much more. An insider? You have to be kidding. If he is such an insider, why is he working for CNN? Oh, because he is a Reagan era has-been. You are going to have to do better than that. Bill Bennett's opinion is about as valid as my grandmother's from her grave.

Without casting aspersions on your grandmother (may she rest in peace), I agree with bigurn that Mr. Bennett is thoughtful and has a perspective worth pondering. Disagree with his politics and his gambling problem all you like...but what about the questions he raised in the article? Are you comfortable with Sen Obama's position that he would meet the leaders of so-called "rogue nations" during the first year of his hypothetical presidency...without any preconditions? How do you think that will go over in international circles? Do you think his foreign policy credentials are up to snuff with current geopolitics? There seem to be many questions worthy of contemplation.

I don't know that anyone should listen to the likes of Bennett. All of the pundits have been so wrong on bush. They all told us what a good president he is BS. What amuses me is that Bennett is a supporter of president bush this makes me question his judgment, how can you be for a guy that has been sooooooo wrong on everything, and tell me that you have a keen insight on anything? But to each his own. This guy doesn't have a clue! Obamas ideas are new so it's easy to say they are wrong, but does he really know that they are wrong? They have never been tried and what we are doing now sure as hell hasn't work. So; yep, I am up for some new ideas. What I gather here is this, they are afraid that his ideas will work. It's always the simple way that does after you do the hard things. None of them thought of reasoning first , they are like we have a big stick let's hit them over the head with it, as you can see that has been working like a charm.

He served in the cabinet level for Democrats first and then Republicans. He has worked in and around politics in Washington most of his adult life. How much more of an insider can you get? His talk show is coming out of Washington. He is still there.
You are doing the shoot the messenger instead of discuss the issues. Is that the only thing you know how to do?
Issues not name calling.

What did Bill have to say about voting for 'W'? Was for this disaster or not? Another talking head that has a cloudy crystal ball. He likely deserves the credit he is trying to give Obama.

Top 10 Reasons Not to Vote for McCain
Patrick J. Buchanan
My favorite is #8
"8. McPsycho McCain is famous for going postal on his Republican colleagues dropping the F-word, calling them fuc$ing idiots and worse. His dangerous inability to control his temper comes from a God-complex and an ingrained contempt for other human beings. One of his colleagues commented, "I don't want this guy anywhere near a trigger." Given his mental state, McCain could end up nuking Terre Haute instead of Tehran."

Obama's associations and tax policies trouble me the most about his presidential candidacy. And it's hard to believe that anyone in the Moveon.org/Soros orbit is really serious about defending our borders, national defense or terrorism. The type of "change" that Obama would provide is definitely not for the better.

Stephen, you are 100% right on! Obama is a LIAR; has ties to REZKO (deeper ties that he will admit but be prepared for an "October" surprise coming from the Republicans on OBAMA and HOW and REZKO worked together on ILLEGAL MONIES); OBAMA is NOT A CHRISTIAN (according to the WORD OF THE LIVING GOD); HE is definitely friends with FARRAKKAN and went with HIS RACIST PASTOR to IRAN to present FARRAKKAN one of the highest awards the church gives; HE has NO experience in FORIEGN POLICY; HE IS A MUSLIM; His Cousin is the LEADER of the African movement that is causing all the harm and killing in that nation; OBAMA distorts SCRIPTURE AND THE CONSTITUTION; HE talks about "change", but, it is NOT "change for the better in AMERICA", HE is FLUENT in SPANISH; HE will meet with Rogue Nations without pre-conditions; and the list goes on. THESE things have NOT been "DEBUNKED" and CANNOT BE DEBUNKED because these are OBAMA's OWN WORDS. Go to: dontvoteobama.net

Good grief! "He is FLUENT in SPANISH"!!!!!!! well that says it all then, despicable indeed, an obvious no-hoper.
With calm, reasoned, well-argued posts like those of "SayNO2Obama" (above), spelling it out for the electorate like it really is, I shall be very surprised if the Illinois Senator gets a single vote in November!
Stirring work indeed, SNO, keep it up, you bring a powerful voice to the party. McCain needs many more like you..............

Well, there's only one reason to be afraid having McCain elected, but it's a biggie...100 years in Iraq.
Now who wants to spend several billion dollars a month in Iraq for even the next 10 years...anyone?

No, you weren't thinking, you were in denial, wishful thinking. When it comes down to it, you were plotting.
