Posted by: Aidenag 2 months, 1 week agoRecall last week how McCain lost his mind when the Supreme Court said that Guantanamo Bay detainees could not be detained indefinitely without charges and were entitled to ask a court for a hearing where the government would have to show why it was holding them, or that they be released.

If there is a special place in hell for hypocrits, McCain has earned his place there.
McCain, a pow survivor, once was vehemently opposed to torture and to unfair abuse of prisoners and detainees. Now, clammoring for right wing votes, he has conveniently forgotten his deepest convictions to suck up to the extremist politics that he used to denounce.
He doesn't seem to care much about the friends he loses either in the process, like Chuck Hagel, his former friend who is also a Vietnam Veteran.
GOP Chuck Hagel is quite disappointed seeing what has happened to John McCain, the man who use to be considered a maverick in the Republican Party. Well, not anymore; McCain is the new and improved Bush clone package complete with puppet strings and the same dance routine, the flip flop hop.
Beware of the next uniter and decider...he'll do anything for your vote.

I think calling his campaign the "3:10 to Yuma" is appropriate on so many levels:
Age for one, the original came out about forty years ago.
It`s in arizona.
It`s the train coming to take the crooks to jail.
The protagonist flip-flops in the movie and actually acts against his own best interests, like 99% of all Republicans voters.

I agree with him. Try them or release them. But that's as far as I go, because I know in my heart that if he were President it would not happen. This isn't just a 'flip flop.' This is pathological. Does he really believe no one is paying attention?

Here he goes lying again, and not caring that he is a liar. What does that say about his moral center? What does that say about his pastor? What does that say about his supporters? Is it really alright to lie and steal, and cheat? Is this individual really Presidential timber? He isn't even a good toothpick.

As usual, the simpleminded among us, this blogger included, take apples and oranges and yell "Flip Flop" at the top of their lungs. His first position was that the detainees cases should be adjudicated. This was in reference to military tribunals or other adjudication OUTSIDE the U.S. Judicial system. His comment the other day was AGAINST giving these detainees...potentially enemy combatants....access to the U.S. Judicial system. If that's a flip flop, then apples are oranges. Oh, yeah, right....they are if you don't have a sense of taste, smell, and sight.That about describes those who try to compare the positions.

You take one part of his quote, try to make it the whole quote, and then try to define it in such a way that it fits your pre-determined point of view.

So McCain has flip flopped on another issue. I wonder how many issues have McCain not flip flopped on? Has he been consistent on anything at all? This amused voter is curious to know...(not that it matters as he lost me a long time ago even tho I supported him 4 years ago.... whoops, that makes me a flip flopper).
