Wow, great fear-mongering Alpha, so typical of you! Yes, heaven forbid any american show some compassion toward other Americans, even though they are dying for us, or they will be labeled "sociolists" by the fear-mongerers! Fear-mongers scared to give up a few dollars to the common good - get a conscience and join the human race!

It appears that Obama's latest on change, has been his position on different subjects, daily.

Of all the ridiculous, right wing hate mongering blather I've seen on this site, this takes first prize. How this kind mean spirited, reactionary tripe even makes it here is beyond belief. AlphaGnosis, I would even expect you to condemn it, not give it the equivalent of one of your cute smiley faces. Despicable!

DKL:
Do you have a list of absolute ignorant comments that you reference or are these unbelievable remarks spontaneous?? It is becoming increasing difficult to completely read your longer rants, Dropkick, because each sentence reads more absurdly than the previous one. I am not attacking you. I am curious about your negative focus which is always caustic and extremely pro neocon.

The neocons must be desperate. Calling today's Democrats communists is ridiculous enough, but not nearly as ridiculous as comparing them to nazis. And I detest 'green' luddites and opponents of nuclear power, but they are more like hippies than nazis.

fta: Hitler brought much change to Germany. For a short time, Germans were proud of their new nation. However, Hitler's ambition and power lust led to the greatest world war in human history, unimaginable human misery, and the destruction of the German nation. Few Germans were proud of those changes.
now lets change every word from Hitler to Bush and Germans to Americans.
Bush brought much change to America. For a short time, American's were proud of their new nation. However, Bush's ambition and power lust led the greatest worldpower in human history to a war based on lies, unimaginable human misery, and the eventual destruction of the American nation. Many Americans(republicans) were proud of those changes.

Well, I consider the attempt to smear the Obama campaign symbol utterly preposterous.
The greatest error being that it was the Social Democrats that were the ones swept away by the rising tide of National Socialism.
The Ops conclusions are all wrong.

Bush brought much change to America. For a short time, Americans were proud of their new nation. However, Bush's ambition and power lust led to near world war, unimaginable human misery, and the destruction of the Iraqi nation. Few Americans were proud of those changes.
This is a bit more accurate.

Why not call Barack Obama a far left candidate, and associate of ex-Weatherman William Ayers, as well as a criminal with mob connections? Is it because McCain and the Republicans are incomparably worse? Is it also because the Republicans are trying to manipulate Kerry Democrats who couldn't care less if Barack Obama belonged to the Weathermen?

Sorry. Sen Obama was a Muslim. His brother says he was a Muslim. I think Malik knows a little more about this man then you do. He attended the Mosque for prayers with his stepfather for 5 years. He should have addressed this months ago, now it is too late. He was also mentored by Frank Marshall Davis, a radical American Communist in his youth, and mentions Frank in his books. He writes extensively about his dislike of white peeople, and the church he, and his lovely wife brunno attended for 20 years, even taking their minor children to, is also anti white. I don't know why this comes as such a surprise to you Obamanuts.

Muslims are good, we must not start equating Muslims to the radicals who attacked this country. Two different groups. But what I find a little bad, is how Obama tried to hide his past. It shows that hes a little too concerned with his publi appearance verse the truth. But to be fair, all politicians are like that.

Sorry, that post was for another thread. Based an equally well researched article that didn't involve flights of fantasy or crazy supposition. Just the raw unvarnished facts.

Does anyone deny that he is a socialist? One who believes in redistribution of wealth? One that believes that the government (under democrats only) is the answer to everyone's problems? (Pay no attention to Louisiana) One that thinks that by more taxation they will make things better?

Cut me a friggin break!
I am so tired of being called a socialist.
Here I sit in a country that pays out the hugest amount to government employees.
And the only thing that casts a shadow over their salaries is their pensions and healthcare.
Spending has exploded (that means gotten bigger real fast).
Out of the nearly $10 trillion debt we can thank the social insurance programs for paying about $4 trillion of it, at a greatly reduced interest rate.
The nut paid by these programs still greatly exceeds the spending by the department of health and human services.
About 40 percent of government receipts are paid in by wage earners on there first $100 grand.
Yet they are not counted as taxes so often.
I think they deserve a bang for their buck.
Our government has never gotten bigger as fast, or spent more.
Hit me with a good argument and I will listen, throw this crap at me and I will get pi$$ed.

"About 40 percent of government receipts are paid in by wage earners on there first $100 grand."
So you admit that the majority of taxes are paid by higher income earners. Nice spin on it though. Feel free to get pi$$ed. Btw, "hugest" isn't a real word. Most government employees know that.
