Does Iran Have Bush Over a Barrel? »
Posted By bubba2 3 months, 1 week ago in NewsIf President Bush wants to boost Republican chances of holding on to the White House and keeping Democratic gains in Congress to a minimum in November, he might consider taking an attack on Iran "off the table". Of course, that's probably the last thing Bush - and his particularly belligerent vice president, Dick Cheney - will do.

"(I)f this administration truly wanted to spare Americans further pain at the pump, there is one thing it could do that would have an immediate effect," wrote Michael Klare in this week's Nation magazine. "(D)eclare that military force is not an acceptable option in the struggle with Iran."

Yeah, because the price of gas wouldn't rise at all if Iran had the bomb, right? And started handing out these bombs to Hezbollah and Hamas to bomb Israel and blackmail any other M.E. country that wants to sell oil to the west, right? Why, the price of gas might actually go down, right?
That's just brilliant, Bubba. Let's tell Iran we'll just leave them completely alone no matter what they do.
Did you actually think before you thought this was a good article???

Do you actually know of ANY PROOF that Iran is attempting to create ANY nuclear weapons?
Let me help you ... NO. There is NONE.
It is sad to see people like you swallow whole the propaganda and SPIN from the right-wing and the White House. There are NO facts or documentation to back up ANY accusations that Iran has or is trying to create any nuclear weapons.
You have become paranoid and fearful - just what the current administration WANTS the American people to be so that they can be controlled.
You are a great warmonger, and you really have NO clue about the reasons that the price oil and gasoline are so high.

These Republicans are like the boy who cried wolfe one too many times. They'll probably get us all burned one day.
First there is the lack of evidence that they are trying to develop a nuclear bomb.
Second, there is no reason to beleive the Iranians would hand out such a hard earned prized to terrorist who, if they use such a bomb, would ensure Irans total destruction.

Who is being 'dumb'?
Iraq is enriching uranium for POWER PLANTS - you know, electricity?
Their enrichment is nowhere NEAR what is needed to actually create any nuclear weapons.
They say they will not stop enriching uranium because they continue to build power plants.
People are 'worried' because the Bush administration and Israel have PLANTED that fear with false accusations that have NO documentation to back them up.
As I said above - the Bush administration has been VERY successful in making MILLIONS in this country "afraid of the terrorists".
Fearmongering by those in power allows them to CONTROL the masses (us).
Remember the Communist scare in the 1950s and McCarthy and those that supported/believed him?
History repeating itself all over again ...

...but they also say they aren't developing a nuclear weapon. It must be nice to just pick and choose what you want to believe in order to bolster your opinion.

...and they still do. If we say black, they say white. If you hold up four fingers and ask how many, they'll argue to the death that you're holding up three.
Make no mistake, Putin is quite likely the most serious and dangerous enemy we have in the world.
