As an atheist and enthusiastic Obama supporter I'm not sure how to feel about this. I oppose faith-based programs on principle, but I will admit that they haven't been a complete failure. As long as they are done correctly--that is, with equal support for programs from Christian, Jewish, Muslim and other organizations--I think they could still be part of a sound, if not entirely ideal, social policy. Nevertheless this makes me a bit nervous--is Obama merely pandering to folks who aren't convinced he's a Real Christian(TM)?

What!!! Democrats have been complaining about faith based initiatives for years, as failed programs then the Obamessiah steals the idea, and it is acceptable. You people are a piece of work. Wait until Obama comes back from Iraq ready to stay until the job is done. OMG, Leftists will be jumping off buildings. The truth is he doesn't believe in any of this, he is trying to garner additional votes.
