Fourth of July Special: The Year in Grilling »
Posted by: Radiofreeeuropa 1 month, 3 weeks agoWhat does all this grilling have to do with the 232nd anniversary of the Declaration of Independence? Absolutely nothing. Americans just enjoy any excuse to stuff their faces with the charred carcasses of animals not cute enough to be house pets. This piece reviews a different kind of grilling.

"SCOTT MCCLELLAN'S BOOK
Former White House press secretary Scott McClellan raked the Bush administration over the coals in his book, "What Happened.""
SCOTT MCCLELLAN, What Happened?
SCOTT MCCLELLAN,I don't know
"ROGER CLEMENS CONGRESSIONAL TESTIMONY"
"MICHAEL MUKASEY CONFIRMATION"
"GENERAL PETRAEUS SENATE QUESTIONING"
Is it any wonder why congress is at 12% approval?

Although I agree with most of your comment ingest, McClellan's book did have many insights...of course a few unanswered questions as well...it corroborated much of what most Americans already were pretty certain was going on anyway.
And indeed, these Barbecues were not not hot enough.
Or in the case of Clemens, merely a distraction to keep people from noticing actual issues.

The kind of ingredients which definitely encourage cruelty to veggies rather than to poor dumb human animals.

The grill was more like a candle in a cavern. All kinds of dirty corruption hiding in the shadows.

George Carlin once said something to the effect that if the cow was only about 1", we could put it on the cracker whole. Oh, but that would be so repugnant to our human sensitivities. Imagine eating a whole cow? Why that is uncivilized! Doesn't it make more sense to grind up the cow's ass, mix it with some chopped pig and lamb, and then shape it into a rectangular sold and call it meatloaf?

LOL
"2nd amendment didn't mean that everyone should go out and get a gun."
Part of the purpose of that amendment was to make the Government know that if they tried to ride roughshod over the people the people could rise up and kick them out by force if necessary. They really did want a well armed militia. The militia then consisted of every able bodied man. So they wanted every one to have their own gun.

"hypotheticals are different from real life".
No shat!!!!!!
What a stupid remark about the perceived affects of water-boarding as opposed to the actual experience of waterboarding.
Mukasey was sun cooked road kill before he was grilled.
Nuff said.
