I think this is a very good move, and I would bet President Bush "suggested" S A do just that. I expect Jordan, and Egypt will do the same. This is a new Democracy, struggling to hold their own against terrible odds. It is to their advantage if Iraq be allowed to have a chance to grow strong.

UAE wants a stable middle east and they are willing to use their money to make it happen. This is wonderful for Iraq.

This would NOT have happened without a U.S. presence in the Middle East over the last 5 years.
Thank you, U.S. military, Bush Administration, and everyone else who voted to go into Iraq, take down Hussein and establish a foothold of democracy and rationality in this hostile region. History will look very kindly on these years and these efforts.
