Is he a "propeller head" too or did he figure this out on his own?

"We have always been polarized, but never to the point we were when the Impeached One was President."
and that's the fault of a petulant group of pugs who erroneously believed they should hold all the reins of power. Look at what has happened since the MORON became president. It will take years to fix but under Democratic pragmatism we will right the ship. I only hope we don't forget what a debacle for the country the Republicans always create. The words "Never Again" come to mind.

I completely agree.
Nixon was such a paranoid, unstable, and polarizing figure who went to extremes to spy on (Watergate) and harass (using the IRS to audit opponents) his political enemies. Instead of examining and objectively evaluating our Southeast Asia policies (Domino theory erroneous) he and Agnew proceeded to demonize any opposition. Agnew (or a speechwriter) coined the slogan - Love it or Leave it.
He bombed Cambodia and Laos, a criminal violation of explicit congressional laws. He and Westmoreland kept lying to America about "body counts" and "light at the end of the tunnel."

ABC had a special, titled State of the Union, with psychiatrists a couple years ago pointing out how radical polarized news only further polarizes. This is why Reagan vetoed the Truth in Telecommunications Act and why Repugs today fight the Fairness Act and hate laws! Repugs need this polarized hatred to survive! So what if news has to take a little more time to explain both sides, and there should to be penalties on the constant liars/deceivers like Faux Fox Facts - for the good of the country!

The Fairness Doctrine simply required that some time be devoted to an opposing point of view:

What about that is NOT free speech?

And unrestrained capitalism is not the definition of freedom either. The country functions best when there is balance. Bill Clinton had the best balance of my lifetime in his first term. But by the end of his second, his triangulating with Republicans had deregulated business considerably. And with Bush, deregulation is at dangerously near-laissez-faire levels. We make nothing in the United States anymore. What we do make is mainly done with the services of immigrants - legal and illegal - at lower wages than should be allowed by law...and all this, while your beloved president attemped to pass "immigration reform" that would legitimize the practice that is being done with a wink and a nod. And many of our white collar jobs are outsourced to India.
If this is freedom, I don't want it!

..Don't forget it was Newt who first came up with the list of derogatives for his fellow repugs to use whenever addressing the other side! Delay wasn't called the Hammer for nothing! Where is the equivaent set of lies from the Dems as that of Newt's "Contract With America"? Dems don't have presidential cabinet level convictions in three different recent adminstrations (watergate, Iran Contra & Plamegate). Dems don't have 18 of the 22 Congressmen on the most corrupt list! Dems don't have the equivalent outrage radio to Rush, or TV to Faux Fox Facts! Repugs don't have a Rhodes scholar to compare to Bill either (McCain, 2 away from the bottom of his Annapolis class only graduated because his dad was an admiral)!
The repugs/conservatives ignore reality well, or just plain rationalize around it for what? Just plain greed!
