Rep. Dennis Kucinich continued his seemingly quixotic crusade to impeach President Bush last week. But with Speaker Pelosi suggesting the House Judiciary Committee may hear his argument, Kucinich might get his day very soon.

Kucinich is pressing ahead with impeachment. IMHO he should be the leader of the House. The video shows the attitude from most conservatives like O'Reilly. They just want it to go away. They claim it's just a waste of time. They shout over or try to ignore the facts, but the noise is getting louder. It will soon be upon the judiciary to finally settle this nagging question. "What and how much did Bush know about the failed intelligence that put us into this war with Iraq?" and "Is he indeed guilty of war crimes?"

They're going to recess in a few days. What will happen to it then? Will it have to be reopened for the next Congressional session?

THe groundswell tho is getting louder. it took almost 8 years but the public is becoming aware of the evil that occupied the White House. A President can be ipeached for4 a bj but let to skate on lies to start a war and violations of the Constituition itself. Bush ddnt buy land in South America as a vacation resort, he plans on going there to escape prosecution.

It's about time someone stood up to the Republicans on this issue. Democrat party unity didn't stop Starr from impeaching Clinton, after all.

Ultimately, it is the duty of any representative of the people to do what they believe to be the right thing by their constituents, even if it is doomed to failure.

The problem is that the evil occupying the White House doesn't have a lot of time there no matter what. It will take a long time to do the job

Net? the internet? Oh, don't worry, there are far more than 6 of us who'd like to see Bush impeached. You'd need a net the size of Texas to constrain us.

Heaven forbid a politician actually encourage PUBLIC dialog, right? After all we're just idiots who give them our money to do whatever they see fit with, and we should just shut up and say nothing, like good old Roman and German citizens, right?

Oh, by the way, how are THEIR empires doing??

But why settle for impeachment when Bush could be tried for murder:

You people are so amusing. No one is getting Impeached. Not today, not tomorrow, not ever. But I hope Kucinich keeps plodding along. It keeps him off the Streets, and out of the bars, and it makes for a good laugh every day. Never give up!! Is the Mother ship here yet?

If you were actually laughing so hard, you wouldn't be so agressively trying to play down the significance of this. It seems that your comment is an admission that is this is a significant problem for this administration that you so blindly follow.

Funny that sticking to a message and not flip-flopping at every opportunity is now considered loony. I remember not too long ago when reps considered flip-flopping to be the worst attribute of a candidate.

                  What happened?

The most important thing is that it will be on record and THAT

                    cannot be changed..EVER!

Nobody expects the action to remove him from office.

                    Was Clinton removed from office??

So far the most scarred president ever was Nixon, and these discussions will forever put the azzhole Bush on the top of the list!! (where he deserves to be)

The Men in Black left Kusonofabitch here to keep the Congress in chaos. Under his suit he's actually a cockroach, but then again, what Lib isn't?

                    Kinda nuts.

Why not dig up Winston Churchill and try him for war crimes too?

                    Screwballs.
