Nothing more pathetic than McCain abusing the campaign financing law he himself wrote.. I can't believe he had the nerve to attack Obama for not taking public financing, when he is doing this crap. Barack really had no choice when his opponent is using dirty tricks to pad his war chest.

It's said that money can't buy happiness. While that may be true, it has been proven quite successful at leasing it. One thing that currently cannot be bought or leased is brain cells.
If the American electorate use theirs, things should be alright. But, wait a minute, they didn't seem to use them last time. Will it be any different this time, or will all those brain cells be taking a nap like last time?

Yes, it is all "perfectly legal", isn't it?
That INCLUDES Obama NOT participating in public financing. As you would say, it is his right and it is legal.
But you would call Obama a flip-flopper for not using public financing after he said he would.
I would call McCain a hypocrite AND a flip-flopper for ABUSING the public financing and raking in HUGE piles of private - BIG - donations anyway.
So, you are a hypocrite for supporting McCain's "right" but not Obama's.

Obama said that believed in public financing but the "gaming" of the law made it unwise to choose that path. He took a a raft of criticism from the usual suspects. Sure looks as though his decision and observations about the loopholes were quite sound. I know a gentleman whose land was stolen under eminent domain and given to WalMart for a parking lot. That was legal too.

When Barack Obama announced that he would forgo public money and finance his own campaign, he was harshly attacked by persons here on Propeller. At that time, I pointed out that McCain was exploiting this loophole and others which I identified in that post.
I picked up my usual high number of negs, but I was right. The McCain-Feingold Campaign Finance Reform Act is a sham, designed only to mislead the public. Unfortunately, the press has gone along with these crooks, and has failed to inform the public.

And it makes your teeth green and dogs growl at you and ferns wilt as you pass by.
The taste of hypocracy is wormwood; it is the gall and bitter drink of despair that is offered in a gold chalice by the woman in red from the Apocalpyse of John, and it is bad for the digestion and should be eschewed by all pilgrims trying to get somewhere worth a pilgrimage.
